What’s your Christmas wish?

It was a long wait and now it was finally Kim’s turn.

“Pick a present from the bag, sweetie!”

Kim peeped inside the bag.

“There’s nothing inside the bag, Santa!”

“That’s because you are not wishing for anything, sweetie. Try thinking about something, then look inside the bag again.”

Kim peeped again. She screamed, “Ss…snakes! Scorpion! Spiders! They are not presents!”

“You filled your mind with fear, anger and hatred. These are the manifestation of your thoughts, my dear. Input something nice and good into your mind, you’ll see wonders.”

Kim closed her eyes for a minute before she peeped into the bag for a final time.

“Wow! It’s colourful! There are candy canes, bells and lots of presents!”

“Yes, it is, my dear. If you choose to input bad and wicked thoughts, you’ll see evil. But if you think of nice and good stuff, you’ll see wonders! Now take your pick! Remember, what’s inside the present is what you wish for. So -”

“Wish for something good!”

“You’ve got it! Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas, sweetie!”
