One-word Inspiration

Uncertainty

uncertainty-sign

Fear and doubt, come after uncertainty. When we are uncertain of what’s going to happen next, we tend to question ourselves:

Am I doing the right thing?

Am I making the right decision?

Am I going the right way?

uncertainty

Then we’ll start to wonder if our action/decision has any impact on another person:

Will she be offended if I tell her the truth?

Did she trust me? What if I make a mistake?

Will she be disappointed in me?

Our mind will be flooded with questions of ‘WHAT IFs…’ However, we all know that sometimes we just have to make ‘THAT’ decision in life.

I have to tell her even if it will upset her because it’s the best for her.

It’s ok to make mistakes. We learn from our mistakes. We will never get started if we are constantly worrying about this and that. Life is a challenge. Every decision is a challenge.

We’ll never know till we give it a try. We’ll only know when we get there. There is no right or wrong answer to the path of life we take. We are survivors. No matter how hard life may get (even if we take the wrong path), we will get it straight. We just have to keep going, and NEVER GIVE UP!

Just my 2-cents worth on Uncertainty.

Writing 101, Day 3: One-word Inspiration

Prompts come in many different forms. Sometimes, a single word is all you need to get your mind’s wheels turning. Here are six words:

TREASURE
REGRET
HOME
LOVE
UNCERTAINTY
SECRET

Select one word in this list that speaks to you in some way. Have you always wanted to write about that wrong decision you made? Are you a long-term traveler looking for the right city to settle? Do you want to write a poem about your relationship?

The beauty of the one-word prompt is that it’s open to interpretation. What do you think of when you hear this word? What do you see? This word is simply the seed for your post: feel free to shape your idea as you see fit.
