Yesterday was the start of the long jubilee weekend. We excitedly set off early in the morning for Art Science Museum. Upon arrival, we were disappointed and discouraged by the “snake” queue. Not wanting to waste our time queueing, we headed for Gardens by the Bay.
The ticketing counters at Gardens were equally crowded. This was the moment where we were grateful for being Friends of the Gardens, as we could enter the conservatories without queueing for tickets (though we had to queue to enter the conservatories when normally there’s no need to).
The current theme at the Flower Dome is “From Tales to Legends: Discover Singapore Stories” – a SG50-commemorative floral display.
Let the story begin…

Tickets to the conservatories are available at 50% off for local residents (from 7 August to 10 August), and free for local seniors (aged 60 and above, from 1 June to 31 August). The Friends of the Gardens annual membership fee is also halved (between 7 August and 10 August).
