Assignment 4: Identify your audience
(Blogging 101: Day 4)
Hmm…since the main purpose of my blog is to keep an online diary for myself, I could not think of any specific target audience. Perhaps, everyone and anyone can be my audience! ^_^
Embedding instagram is new to me. Therefore, am going to try out this feature and hopefully can produce something nice.
Singapore celebrates 50 years of independence this August.
To commemorate this jubilee,
1) all households were given a SG50 goodie bag (one per household, content varies);
2) all students and teachers in primary schools, secondary schools, ITE, Junior Colleges and Polytechnics were given a special, 244-pieces set of “Builing My SG” Lego bricks. This set can be used to build three Singapore icons namely the Cavenagh Bridge, Changi Airport Control Tower, and the Supertrees from Gardens by the Bay.
My children received theirs from school today. As you can see from the picture above, they only made the Changi Airport Control Tower (left) and the Cavenagh Bridge (right).
The jubilee weekend starts from tomorrow (7th August) till Monday (10 August). Many places of attractions in Singapore are taking this opportunity to offer free admission, or at a discounted rate, for the locals and permanent residents. More information can be found here.
